Mountain View, Calif. — May 5, 2014 — Treasure Data, a cloud data service provider, today announced it has been named as one of four “Cool Vendors in Big Data, 2014”ⁱ in a report by Gartner, Inc., the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company.
Gartner offers world-class, objective insight on a wide variety of IT solutions, and each year publishes a series of research reports that evaluate “Cool Vendors” in key areas of technology. The Gartner’s “Cool Vendors in Big Data, 2014” report states that, “big data is moving from being a topic and a concept in itself, to becoming a value-add to existing use cases, such as data science, data integration, analytics and information innovation.”
