MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – October 3, 2017 – Treasure Data, a fast-growing leader in the emerging Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Internet of Things (IoT) Analytics markets, announced today that Rob Glickman has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer.
As CMO at Treasure Data, Glickman will manage all aspects of marketing including go-to-market strategy, demand generation, corporate, product, partner and industry marketing. A modern and metrics-driven marketer, Glickman has seen first-hand the critical need to unify customer data from multiple silos by creating and maintaining an accurate customer profile.
“Marketing tech is at an inflection point and Treasure Data is in the unique position to define and dominate the CDP and IoT Analytics markets. We are the only company who can achieve scale and speed anywhere and at the cadence that enterprises demand.
Before joining Treasure Data, Glickman was Vice President of Audience Marketing at SAP, where he led a global team of marketers chartered with driving modern marketing demand generation programs globally. He brings nearly 20 years of marketing experience ranging from lean startups to large enterprises, including running product marketing for Symantec, as well as seven years at eBay and PayPal where he held various marketing leadership roles.
“I am humbled and honored that Rob has joined the Treasure Data family,” said Hiro Yoshikawa, CEO and co-founder of Treasure Data. “From the beginning we have been focused on loading and unifying data at scale from marketing, sales, web, social, mobile, and IoT devices so that enterprises can engage their customers anywhere. Today we have 100 trillion data records under management and ingest 2 million records per second; we look forward to Rob sharing our story with the market and defining our leadership position in the CDP and IoT Analytics markets.”
