Treasure Data Announces Partnership with Jaspersoft

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Treasure Data will announce its partnership with Jaspersoft this week at the JasperWorld Conference in San Francisco. Jaspersoft, the world’s most widely used Business Intelligence software, has selected the Treasure Data Cloud Data Warehouse service as a big data solution. “The combination of Jaspersoft’s market-leading BI capabilities and the power and scalability of Treasure Data’s service puts big data analytics in the hands of organizations of any size in days, not weeks or months,” said Brian Gentile, CEO Jaspersoft.

Brian explains that Jaspersoft partnered with Treasure Data because there is not nearly enough knowledge about big data in the customer community today. Customers will be able to rely on Treasure Data to provide all of their big data “heavy lifting” as well as the scalability and agility of the Cloud, greatly reducing their workload and allowing them to focus on their own business problems in their own domain.

Hiro Yoshikawa, CEO of Treasure Data, remarks, “In a recent survey, we asked 243 IT and business managers how they want to analyze big data. Sixty percent (60%) responded ‘using standard BI tools.’ We believe that Jaspersoft is a natural fit to our business and we’re pleased to have them on board.”

The Treasure Data Cloud Data Warehouse service enables companies to get big data analytics running in days not months without specialist IT resources and for a tenth the cost of other alternatives. Traditional data warehousing solutions – even modern alternatives such as Hadoop – are too expensive, complex and take too long for many companies to implement, so the idea of quickly launching a data warehouse service that uses the power and economics of the Cloud for companies of any size, opens up a huge potential market.

Treasure Data will be presenting at the JasperWorld conference on September 26th at 2:30 p.m. in the Cyril Magnin II room.

Treasure Data officially launches on September 27th in San Francisco. Members of the Press are welcome to attend – please call (650) 394-4749 for details.
